Alabi Oreoluwa Forbes magazine has named the popular music star, Robyn Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, the world’s richest female musician. Rihanna, the magazine said, has reached a billionaire status with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion. Her latest milestone makes her the wealthiest female musician in the world and the second wealthiest female entertainer, behind Oprah Winfrey. Most of her fortune, estimated on Wednesday by Forbes, does not come from chart-topping singles, but from the success of her cosmetics empire. A school in Enugu state called Pine Crest School organised a drama titled "The Royal Wedding" in order to teach children a practical way. It was gathered that the drama served as a pedagogical deepening of third-grade scheme of work on marriage. The photos got mixed reaction on social media as the little " couple" dressed in their wedding outfit. The groom wore a blue suit while the bride wore a white dress for the court marriage and a pink dress for the reception. Some people claimed it was a nice idea considering the kids dress and the settings while some people claimed that it could make the kids act like they are real couple and this is bad for their age.

AKINADE ISRAEL   Kanye West, the Grammy award winning rapper made a surprising performance at a prison in Texas on Friday   15th November, 2019. The artist   performed to more 200   prisoners including the staffs at Harris County prison. He performed one of his tracks from new album "Jesus is King". It was recorded that some women busted into tears as he performed at another facility across the road. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said representatives for West got in touch about doing the performances, which recall the shows at Folsom State Prison in 1968 by the late Johnny Cash. The new album "Jesus is King", got released in October after many delays, has really got a lot of people moved including prisoners and staffs. Jason Spencer, the Harris County Sheriff's Office Public Affairs Director said in a tweet that West and his choir "brought light to people who needed it".  

LAWANI OLUWASEMILORE O. The “Blow My Mind” crooner and Nigerian international superstar, Davido, who just recently, shook the internet with  his proposal to Chioma, is ready to make debut in Hollywood, as the role of a performer in the sequel of the 1988 love comedy classic “ Coming To America." This information was disclosed by African-American actor and comedian, Michael Blackson on his verified Twitter handle @MichaelBlackson, complimenting Davido.  Blackson scribbled “Davido told me he has a performance scene in the movie #ComingToAmerica2, congrats homie.” The filming has begun in Atlanta, Georgia, and it is to be released on Dec. 18, 2020 in the US.

 AKANDE VICTORIA ABOSEDE The Nigerian Music Industry has lost another of its artiste, Mad Melon to an undisclosed illness. Until his death, Mad Melon was a part of the popular music duo, "Danfo Drivers" which also had Mountain Black as a member. They became popular in the early 2000's for their unique style of music.           Mad Melon's death was announced by the music icon, Daddy Showkey on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in a video shared on his Instagram page where he was lamenting about the death of the singer. He said: "What kind of sad news is this? What kind of sad news is this? Oh my God, we just lost somebody, I just heard it now, I'm not happy at all, I'm not happy .When dem go dey tell people make dem dey hear, make dem they hear".

This event was sequel to the death of his father, Obi Chukuka Okonjo, who died at the age of 91.
