Armed Robbers Hits OAU Students Hostel In Town
By Adekunle Timothy At about past 9pm, a robbery attack took place in the same hostel which hoodlums gave us the 'black Xmas gift' 'Adam and Eve hostel'. As reported by an eye witness who pleaded for anonymity, he said "we heard gun shots and we came out in our large number after mobilizing ourselves and equipping ourselves with the little weapons we could lay hands on." He instructed "we've sent them off, turn off your light and stay indoor". When asked how the robbers came to operate, he said "they came with corolla, 7 hefty men with guns and machete, we came out in mass, they were scared of our number and not our weapons." Some said they heard the gunshot too but thought it was knockout at first. Trying to find out if any one fell victim of the robbery, he said "many fell victim o!"
