NGO CELEBRATES WOMEN'S DAY WITH DIGITAL TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY FEMALE TEACHERS Aderonke Oke, Owolabi Philip On March 9th, 2023, in honour of International Women's Day, the NGO, Women Inspiration Development Centre (WIDC) hosted a digital training session for community female teachers in Ile-Ife and the surrounding areas with the aim to end violence against girls and women. This event, held at OAU Progressive Hall had attendees from various schools in Ile-Ife, Ilesa, and Osogbo, focused on the theme "DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality." During her opening speech, the convener, Mrs Busayo Obisakin , highlighted her concern about the low representation and involvement of women in the technological space worldwide.
