Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's brother becomes Obi of Ogwashi-Uku

Brother to the ex- Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ifechukwu Chukuka Okonjo has ascended
the throne of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, replacing his father as the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku.

This event was sequel to the death of his father, Obi Chukuka Okonjo, who died at the age of 91.

The ex-Finance Minister had tweeted:
“It is with thanks to Almighty God that I announce two impactful events: the ascension to the throne of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom of my brother, Obi Ifechukwu Chukuka Okonjo, upon the passing of my father Obi (professor) Chukuka Okonjo at the age of 91."
on Friday, making this known via her verified Twitter handle @ NOIweala.
