THE GREAT IFE CONGRESS The Action Committee in iys own initiative decides to hold a congress at Fajuyi Hall's Cafeteria on Monday, 12th November 2018, which started at exactly 4:45pm. The congress was about to be breached by the University security but they were confronted by the students. In this light, the University security issued a release about Fajuyi Hall's Cafeteria, stating that it is meant for reading not public discussions. The ASSU representatives invited to the discussion were absent. The Chairman, Action Committee,  Gbenga VON, opened the floor by talking about the state of the union and the university. He condemned the proscription of the student union and the university. He also talked on the open insecurity in thd university and also the sudden closure of hostels' gates. The management made this affirmation in the official release signed by the registrar of the school Mrs M I Omosule on Tuesday 6th November, 2018 stating that "academic session is very much on course. As there are no plans to compel students to vacate the campus until the end of the year holidays.
