KANYE WEST MINISTER AT HARRIS COUNTY PRISON

  Kanye West, the Grammy award winning rapper made a surprising performance at a prison in Texas on Friday  15th November, 2019.

The artist  performed to more 200  prisoners including the staffs at Harris County prison. He performed one of his tracks from new album "Jesus is King".

It was recorded that some women busted into tears as he performed at another facility across the road.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said representatives for West got in touch about doing the performances, which recall the shows at Folsom State Prison in 1968 by the late Johnny Cash.




The new album "Jesus is King", got released in October after many delays, has really got a lot of people moved including prisoners and staffs.

Jason Spencer, the Harris County Sheriff's Office Public Affairs Director said in a tweet that West and his choir "brought light to people who needed it".

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM.
