SOLACE

Ande O. Joy
Wallowing in calmness,
like the serenity of a dimly lit free hallway,
fresh as morning dew or
the first rain at the crack of dawn
Refreshing as the air  after rainfall
It revels in liss
like colts set free on the morrow
It stands, testing it's interval
whether it be to fade soon or
to call one's own
Journeying through empathy,
it relishes the present
commanding succor to inspire
and pain to blin,
feeling like what forever should be
