PATIENCE

There was no love lost between Seun and Debby. They have been roommates for the past year in a 3 bedroom apartment. Circumstances brought them together, they wouldn't be be living together under normal condition.
Debby was the original occupant of the room but she had to get someone when she was urgently in need of cash and, Seun, who was desperately in search of a room jumped at the offer.
Debby was a very cool and calm person, so soft-spoken and nice. Seun was the complete opposite of Debby, she was loud, aggressive and gaudy. Debby knew she was in for trouble the instant Seun moved in.
Seun was always complaining of one thing or the other and accused Debby of everything,even when she was the careless one. The slightest thing irritated Seun and she took it out on Debby.
One day,Seun started her yelling  as usual,but on that very day, Debby was in a very bad mood. She got a call from home that her dad was in a hospital but Seun continued her act not noticing she was not her usual self.
Debby who was already fed up with Seun's behaviour coupled with the sad news she heard from home,left where she was sitting and headed towards the door.
"Don't you dare walk out while I'm talking to you" Seun said as she dragged Debby back. Debby's anger was fuelled and she took whatever her hand grabbed and smashed it on Seun's head. Alas! She Smashed a glass cup on her head.
That was how Seun lost her life. Debby was arrested,prosecuted,and convicted. No one remembered the cool and nice  Debby only the murderer.
*Patience* is the act of waiting contentedly;not losing one's temper while waiting;not bothered with having to wait.
It Is a very important virtue everyone should have. Everyday of one's life,one meet with provocations. There are people who will get on one's nerves and push one to the wall. Some people's behaviour sometimes may make one misbehave,push one to the extreme end. That colleague that gets under your skin or the neighbor that vexes you or that stranger that insults you,they don't worth your reaction. Always remember,a little patience won't hurt anyone.
Times of generosity and kindness are forgotten in an instance of mistake. No one will remember your days of endurance when you lose your cool once. Exercise patience,it won't reduce your size and status.
