Recall that the Icons Organisation on April 5, reported that the "Team OAU" secured the final ticket, cleared the semi finals with a utter defeat of the University of Ibadan (UI), with an astonishing scoreline of (OAU)101- 43(UI).
"Team OAU" proceeded to participate in the ultimate showdown, in pursuit for the final crown by facing off Team FUTA , who has also cleared its semi finals by defeating University of Nigeria, Nssuka (UNN) with a whopping score of FUTA(106) - UNN(48) to qualify for the final stage of the annual competition.
The final ended with a breathtaking dominatory victory by "team OAU," where "team FUTA" was defeated with a 45 points difference of (FUTA)65 - 107(OAU). OAU has therefore become the best STEM university in Nigeria, as the students and the university community celebrate the victory.
