  Deborah Adeyemi The Obafemi Awolowo University Literary and Debating Society (OAULDS), has emerged as the Best Debate Club amongst other Nigeria universities, in the just concluded All-Nigerian University Debate Championship (ANUDC), held at the University of Ilorin. The 12th edition of this annual inter-varsity debate competition, which was held between Sunday 24th to Saturday, 30th August, 2025 has 25 universities including the host university Unilorin, OAU, FUTA, Veritas University, amongst others in attendance.       Eniola Adeyeye I n the Akintola Hall of Residence, occupants have for a long time grappled with limited access to running water, especially during peak hours, as faulty taps which unavoidably led to inconsistent water flow and long queues had become a norm in the hall of residence. However, the recent installation of new taps within the hall of residence has spurred a somewhat significant improvement that has improved the availability, distribution, and access to water in the hall of residence. Following this development, ICONS reporters in a visit to the hall of residence engaged some of the residents of the hall in an interview. According to the residents, the installation of running taps inneach block's toilet is not just a relief, it has totally eradicated the usual congestion that stems from low water supply.
