Guinness World Record: Enitan Reaches 50 hours For the Wash-a-Thon, Continues

 

Enitan has hit 50 hour for the Wash-a-Thon she started on Friday.


Enitan Subair a 200-level Linguistics and African Languages student on Friday, November 24 commenced a  50-hour hand wash-a-thon to set a Guinness World Record.


Enitan had informed the Guinness World Record in June of her plans and was scheduled to begin her attempt on November 24th, 2023.


The Students’ Union leadership  endorsed and was actively part of the organization for the event. During the event, students and staff from the institution showed their support and encouragement.


Prior to commencing her laundry duties, she confidently expressed her determination to successfully set the record for the longest duration spent washing clothes by hand.


Her family members were also around to support her. The dean of DSA, Professor J.A Odedire also came around.


At the moment of publishing this report, Eniola has completed 51 hours, she is on a break. She intends to continue after the break.
