One of the children who survived the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School shared her experience.

Miah Cerrillo, the grade four student, said that they had just finished their lessons when the teachers in the classroom were informed that there was a shooter in the school. One of the two teachers in the classroom with the students rushed to close the door, but on getting to the door, the shooter was there already. Miah said the shooter shot out the window in the door, and the teacher backed walked from the door while the shooter followed.

The shooter looked at one of the teachers and said "goodnight" and shot her. He then shot the other teacher and the students.

After shooting students in her class, the girl said he went to another class and she heard screams and gunshots. After the shots ceased, the shooter began to play loud sad music.

In fear of the gunman coming back to her class, she had to play dead by smearing the blood of one of her dead classmates on her body.

She sustained wounds from fragments of bullets that flew by her on her shoulder and the back of her head.

Miah's parents have started a GoFundMe in order to pay for her therapy. Miah is traumatized to the point that she can't sleep and she fears men to the point that she won't talk to a man after the incident.
