Prayer

Image
Heart so heavy My cares are much To whom shall I run  So much to say but who cares to listen I tried in my ways but it never solve a thing.   And I remember him who has promised liberation I remember him who has so much possession I run to him with burdens so great, Heart troubled with care of this world A word said to him brought peace A word said to him brought assurance And my soul is at rest  Rest from cares Rest from worries He whispers assurance He restoreth my peace And then I rejoice for my heart is at peace Ogunwole Blessing

By Ogunwole Blessing  Time, they say waits for no one so as much as it lies in us we should spend our time wisely because time wasted can never be recovered. Ways by which we can maximize our time is by setting goals.  When we don't set goals we just live our lives without no sense of purpose. When goals are set for our daily activities we are committed to fulfil these goals. We don't stop by setting these goals but we must strife to fulfil them.  One of the importance when we set goals is that it helps us curb unnecessary activities that we engage. COVID-19: Apple and Google New Api Update

Image
By Melody Samuel Probably, you opened your social media handle and you got to see messages and post warning you that Apple and Google have suddenly and stealthily installed a Covid-19 tracking app to phones and you should check yours then this means you aren't alone. Neither Google nor Apple uploaded an app to your smartphone without your permission; no stealthy and automatic tracking app has been installed. It is true that there's a new entry at the top of the Google settings on android smartphones that States *"covid-19 exposure notifications."* This doesn't mean an app has been installed, if you were to click on that entry it will take you to a screen that tells you to finish setting a particular app to activate the exposure notifications. Apple and Google published a joint statement about this back on May 20th "what we've built is not an app- rather public health agencies will incorporate the API into their apps that people install. Our technology is ...

RAVAGED

Image
I remember, that cold chamber of lust, that made me covered in rust. I remember that cold night- evergreen. The night I lost my voice, The hour my eyes let tears dance down freely, the minute my lungs failed to help me breathe,  the second I inhaled his smell of bestiality. I lost my soul- without strength. My clothes in shreds, My body in pieces, My life just as wilted petals of flowers. The night I lost what made me feel whole, The night I lost what I cherished, The night I felt the weakest, The night I had the urge to kill. This night I smelt death, saw death, everything seemed to have the colour of death and the sounds around followed me with scorn- death's mocking laughter. Pity's sneer. He came, He tasted, He ate like a hyena, Grunted like a lion, howled like a wolf, Left me like a vulture. I'm spread naked, all open, pain stinging, like a slain sheep in its own blood. My thoughts couldn't comfort me, My feet wouldn't respond. Only my eyes knew I was too empty...
