EXISTENCE IS A CAGE

By: Akinade Israel O.

Mom and dad,
locked up in a room.
Staring at each other.
Baby I love you,
I want to say that too.
Dad grabbed mom,
A plant of kiss.

I was made secretly
Locked by my dad,
Mom kept me within.
After nine months,
my mind was to escape.
Finally out,
another cage I emerged.

Freedom is all I want,
Caging from one cage
to another.
One freedom is,
another cage.
Freedom is another
Escape to a cage.
