Nasels congress held in an unconventional manner

The congress of the National association of students of English and Literary studies which held around 4pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at history  topmost floor,  is something that could be labelled as an uncompossed congress as some of the executive that are very vital to the congress were not on seat when the congress commenced. The P.R.O, Akingboye Sunday, the Financial secretary, James Opeyemi, The AGS all came late without any tangible reason.

Moreover, the agenda  of the congress were; FASA ASPIRANTS, NASELS TRIP, STANDING COMMITTE. Of all the congress agenda, the issue of FASA aspirants was the most discussed as two Naselsite, Pedro Roseline, from part 2 constituency and Asota Success from part3 constituency showed their interests in contesting for the position of vice president at the faculty level.

However,  the well publicized congress also witnessed a low turnout from members of the association as big as the association is and the P. R. O of the association  who is the image maker of the association demonstrated an act that is not worthy in an intellectual gathering, by not being able to control his emotion, that led to his forceful dismissal from the congress indefinitely.

The congress was inconclusive as the president, Akinbiyi Mathias postponed the congress till further notice.
