One of the devices people apply on OAU campus for politics is tutorial classes--- FASAOAU PRESIDENT ( Read more thrilling facts about OAUFASA)

The president of Faculty of Arts Students Associaction, Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), Mr. Isaiah Ayodeji who is a part 4 student of Department of English, has made it clear during an interview session with The Icons Organization on Friday June 1st, 2018.

Mr Isaiah Ayodeji, popularly and politically  baptized as Ori Benson made it clear that :

"One of the devices people apply on OAU campus when ever they want to contest for political post is tutorials and then greetings which usually end after election"

He said this, while informing our correspondents about how he gained confidence to push his political ambition. He said: " When I was contesting for President of  National Association Of Students Of English and Literary Studies(NASELS), i wasn't courageous  enough, it got to a particular  point, that I was considering  stepping down but because I didn't  allow fear to overwhelm me, I was able to push on with my ambition, the only way I could do that first was by organising  tutorial  classes for students of English  and by extending it to other departments, With that have been able to learn that if you want to do something and you know you can do it you just have to push for the thing."

He made it clear to us that, though he applied the method of organising tutorials and greeting during his electioneering  processes at NASELS and FASA level, he didn't  stop tutorials and greetings. Though he lost as NASELS president two sessions ago, he said he didn't stop organising tutorials and that his classmates can testify to it.

However, while talking  about the issue that occurred recently among FASA parliamentarians  because of vacant posts. He gave the Dean of Faculty  of Art, Professor Gbemisola Adeoti an accolade for his high level of  understanding which he used to settle the issue and prevent it from escalating to the point of catching media attention.

Ori Benson also made it clear that Faculty of Arts is a place to learn base on choices and he wouldn't advice anyone against coming to Faculty of Arts to learn things because he also gained from the Faculty.
