ACJOAU HOLDS EXECUTIVE ELECTION

    The Association of Campus Journalists held its executive election on Friday, 26th January,2018, at the association's secretariat, Faj Block 2 topmost floor.  The election started minutes past ten, the posts that were contested for are: President, Vice President(Admin), General Secretary, and the P.R.O. Although, there were not contestants for the posts of Libarian, Financial Secretary and Assistant General Secretary.
       The total number of votes was sixty-two(62), the election started on a peaceful note, the contestants for the executive election are as follows:
President— Olufemi Alfred
                     Doyinmola Ogundokun

Vice President— Abayomi Adeola

General Sec.— Oludiran Olusola
                          Adenifuja Temitope

P.R.O— Adeleke Oluwatosin
              Olusola Elijah.

       The outgoing executives were in attendance, the election stopped at exactly 4:30pm and counting started. The result of the election is as follows:

     The Vice President Elect was the only contestant that was unopposed thereby giving her a smooth road to victory. A bye-election is to be conducted for the vacant posts. However, the candidates showed love to each other as they congratulated one another after the election.
