*OAU bus saga :OAU parliamentarians conclude on the price of the bus.*

The parliamentarians of OAU students Union reached conclusions on the price of the students union bus bought by Oyekan Ibukun- led administration in their sitting on Sunday, July 23rd 2017.

In the last parliamentary setting held at the level of Awo cafe, one can recall that a 7-man committee which is chaired by Hon. Jamiu was set up to look thoroughly into the funds used for the procurement of the bus.
Through the report presented to the house during their parliamentary sitting, the house was able to vindicate the verisimilitude on the purchase of the bus that it was truly bought for 2.5million as claimed by the president of the students union.

Although, there were controversies about the report presented by the committee which led to an uproar in the house as a result of factional reports by the committee, but at the end of the day they later agreed to the price.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM.
