The ICONS Organisation Alongside Two of Her Members Bagged Seven Awards at ACJ Dinner

In rounding up the 2023/2024 academic session, the Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University (ACJOAU) on Sunday, 27th July, held a dinner and award night themed “Pen and Plates Affairs” in celebrating her achievements during the session, and also to recognise her outstanding journalists.

Recall that, the Icons Organisation on Sunday, 20th July, reported that the organization and a few of her members were nominated in some categories of the “Award Nominees” shared by the Association of Campus Journalists, OAU (ACJ-OAU). Meanwhile, at the dinner and handing-over ceremony was the Icons Organisation alongside two of her members, who were earlier nominated, altogether won a total of seven awards, in different categories.

It was indeed a memorable night of glits and glomour for the organization, as the organization and its members altogether won most awards at the dinner. This win seemingly stems from the organization's dedication to championing campus journalism with utmost integrity.
