The Union expressed concern regarding recent cult-like movements and activities by certain individuals on the OAU campus. It stated its zero-tolerance policy against cultism and related activities. The press release emphasized the importance of honoring the sacrifices of George Iwilade (Afrika) and the OAU 5—individuals who stood against cultism—and ensuring that their legacy is upheld. The Student Union reminded students of the campus's long-standing reputation as a cultism-free environment and affirmed its dedication to preserving this positive image. Fajuyi Hall Renovation: Occupants Share Their Thoughts

By Adetunji Oluwafemi  Some blocks in the Adekunle Fajuyi Hall of Residence, popularly known as Faj Hall, have a new look. Within the span of six months, these blocks underwent a total renovation. As a result, the renovated blocks stand out among the other blocks in the hall of residence. Fajuyi Hall has often been associated with several derogatory names due to its dilapidated buildings and obsolete facilities, which resonate with the names it has been called. However, such name-calling no longer reflects the new look of the three newly renovated blocks in the hall, including Annex Blocks A, B, and C.
