In the spirit of the festive season, distinguished professors from the Department of English and Literary Studies, Faculty of Arts, OAU—Professor Kehinde A. Ayoola, Professor Emmanuel T. Babalola, and Professor James Oladunjoye Faleye—are gifting an electronic copy of their published academic resource to their students at a discounted price.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM. By Samuel Faseyitan ICAN, a professional accountancy body that regulates the accountancy profession in Nigeria, held its 61st Association of Accounting Technicians West Africa (AATWA) induction ceremony for new members and the 29th AATWA annual general meeting on December 17th, 2024, at the ICAN Centre, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. This event celebrated graduands who completed their journey to the ATS exams to become ATT certified, as well as those who finished either ATS 1 or ATS 2 in their pursuit of becoming chartered accountants.
