The Great Ife Mainland Metro Alumni Branch, in partnership with the Great Ife Students' Union, has declared the launch of a groundbreaking event, "The Authentic Breakfast." This initiative emerges from a devoted commitment to the overall well-being of the student community.

In a display of exceptional generosity, the Great Ife Mainland Metro pledges to provide an authentic breakfast for more than 3000 Great Ife Students. This philanthropic act emphasizes the Alumni Branch's dedication to giving back to their alma mater and enriching the lives of current students.

The event is slated to unfold on the O.A.U Campus at the Motion Ground on November 25, 2023, commencing at 10 am and concluding at 1 pm. Students are encouraged to mark this date on their calendars, eagerly anticipating an engaging and enriching program.

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. In the quiet corridors of Moremi Hall, a disturbing series of events has shaken the residents, raising questions about security and the unknown intentions of an elusive intruder.   It all started two weeks ago when the inhabitants of Moremi Hall were awoken to the cry of a lady, "Ole! Ole! (the Yoruba name for thief). At exactly 5:00 am, a guy who was wearing a mask was seen darting across the corridors.
