Twitter acquits Trump from life ban

In 2020, after the presidential election results were released, Mr Trump took to Twitter to express his opinion about the poll. His tweet has been quoted several times as the major instigator of the January 26 Capitol riot that left some dead and many injured 

He was handed a lifetime ban from the app after several backlashes from within and around America. He, however, launched his own social media channel - Truth Social which was made after the Twitter model

The new Twitter CEO, Elon Musk conducted a poll on whether to reinstate Mr Trump. Over 15 million persons voted in favour of his return accounting for about 52% of voters. 

With these statistics, Musk tweeted: “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,”

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM. In the quiet corridors of Moremi Hall, a disturbing series of events has shaken the residents, raising questions about security and the unknown intentions of an elusive intruder.   It all started two weeks ago when the inhabitants of Moremi Hall were awoken to the cry of a lady, "Ole! Ole! (the Yoruba name for thief). At exactly 5:00 am, a guy who was wearing a mask was seen darting across the corridors.
