OAU Set To Convoke 2020 Graduating Set

The Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife is set to hold its 46th Convocation Ceremony for its graduating students.

The 2020 graduating students who finished their final exams last year and have been delayed by the industrial action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU embarked on in February and ended in October will finally wear a graduation gown this year.

The ceremony will be held from the 7th through to the 10th of December for the award of certificates, diplomas, prizes and conferment of first and higher degrees at the Oduduwa main hall.

The University announced the ceremony on her Twitter page.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM. In the quiet corridors of Moremi Hall, a disturbing series of events has shaken the residents, raising questions about security and the unknown intentions of an elusive intruder.   It all started two weeks ago when the inhabitants of Moremi Hall were awoken to the cry of a lady, "Ole!
