weaker -STRONGER VESSEL

You're stronger than ten men all strapped together,
You're a polished vessel glistening, grand and golden,
You always give more than the world could ever take,
You are a natural art with your beautiful hues of rainbows,
Let the world shimmer through all your colors & conflicts;
F L I C K E R I N G in the sultry mid-morning sun like a flying flag.

Be the voice that's lost in the noises of this world, 
You are the PHENOMENAL WOMAN In MAYA ANGELOU's poem,
Lift your head high and trace these steps like a QUEEN;
These steps to your stairs of success might be swiveling;
But they will stand still for you to climb them like ROYALTY,
You are powerful with your paws pretty even when you're in pain.

You can soar a w a y with your soul free from bigotries;
Wander around the world with your wings broken but brave,
Oddly enough,  you don't always have to be a "female-male",
Magnificently magnifying magical lingering little lights of love,
Answering yourself with your lyrical lines loud & larger than life,
Nestling strings of doubts with hopes, your wings will gradually grow.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

By  Adetunji Oluwafemi The Great Ife Students’ Union on Monday, 3rd November 2024, held its planned inter-faculty debate for freshmen. The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM. Faculties were paired and assigned topics: the Faculty of Administration and Science had the topic "Corrupt Democracies are Preferable to Dictatorships"; the Faculty of Agriculture and Dentistry debated on the topic "Subsidy is a Necessary Compromise of the Government, and Should be Implemented in Areas of Essential Public Domains"; the Faculty of Arts and Technology had the topic "Civil Disobedience is a Moral Wea...

MOREMI HALL: A Tale of Night Stories: When Will It End? In the quiet corridors of Moremi Hall, a disturbing series of events has shaken the residents, raising questions about security and the unknown intentions of an elusive intruder.   It all started two weeks ago when the inhabitants of Moremi Hall were awoken to the cry of a lady, "Ole! Ole! (the Yoruba name for thief). At exactly 5:00 am, a guy who was wearing a mask was seen darting across the corridors. He was said to have stolen phones, and while he tried to escape, he was seen by some ladies who raised the alarm.   An eyewitness who will like to remain anonymous said he ran out of the kitchen and jumped down from the second floor to the ground.
