FASA CONGRESS REVERSES THE DECISION OF THE HOUSE, REINSTATES PRO, GENERAL SECRETARY AND FOUR HONOURABLES
The Congress of Faculty of Arts Students Association has on 6th November, 2019 has reversed the decision of the house to suspend and impeach the General Secretary and PRO respectively and the declaration of the seats of honourables vacant.
The president had called a congress in reaction to the petition submitted by the Dramatic Arts Students Association and some members of the executives, however, after much deliberation, the Congress found them innocent of the accused offences and basis of punishment.

On Mr Adeniji Taiwo Mahmud, the General Secretary, was said to have been suspended unjustly and the Congress vindicated him and found him innocent.
The Public Relations Officer, Kusimo Adebayo was also reinstated owing to the fact that congressmen after much deliberation found that he was not given a chance for fair hearing and was accused unjustly.
Owing to the fact that other honourables affected with these offences were not punished, therefore the affected honourables, having attended the previous sitting before the last sitting were found innocent and the decision of the house reversed.
Therefore the decision of the house was reversed and the Congress mandated the Leadership of the house to tender an apology letter through the Clerk to the affected individuals and department.
The decision of the congress remains paramount and stands above all other laws.
As a result of chaos and rancors amongst Congressmen, the President adjourned the Congress till further notice owing to the security of Congressmen.
