The Kings Champions Cup [K.C.C] is a football competition hosted by the OAU Sportsman of the year, Omogunwa Daniel also known as Pablo, a final year student of Religious Studies Education. Being the first of it kind, the competition features 12 department from different faculties - Arts and Science, History, Microbiology, Accounting,Sociology, P.H.E, Animal Science, International Relations, Science and Technology, Local Govt. Studies and Education and Foundation Counselling Departments.

 The competition began on the 10th September, 2019, which started with a match between Arts and Science Department [ASE] and Sociology which ended in a 1-0 win for ASE. followed by an outstanding match between Accounting Department and Computer Science  with a 3-1 win for Accounting.

 The competition also featured group stages which ended 14th September,2019, with Accounting, Sociology, A.S.E, P.H.E, M.C.B, and Local Govt. Departments taking graceful steps into the quarter finals.

 Mr. Omogunwa Daniel, when asked about what motivated him to organise the competition, stated that he got motivated after winning the award of OAU Sportsman of the year. 
He further stated: "The competition would continue annually. The winner will get a trophy and 20 medals for their team and coach while the runner-up will be awarded 20 medals for the players and coach."

The quarter finals would commence on 17th September, 2019 with P.H.E and Local Govt. at Training Pitch by 3:30PM.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it. The event began at 12:35 PM. In the quiet corridors of Moremi Hall, a disturbing series of events has shaken the residents, raising questions about security and the unknown intentions of an elusive intruder.   It all started two weeks ago when the inhabitants of Moremi Hall were awoken to the cry of a lady, "Ole! Ole! (the Yoruba name for thief). At exactly 5:00 am, a guy who was wearing a mask was seen darting across the corridors. He was said to have stolen phones, and while he tried to escape, he was seen by some ladies who raised the alarm.   An eyewitness who will like to remain anonymous said he ran out of the kitchen and jumped down from the second floor to the ground.
