OAU: students' Organization shows love to less privileged

It was a glorious morning on Saturday 11 May,2019 at Abiye Orphanage home , Osogbo, Osun State, as children and staff of Abiye Orphanage home welcomed some students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. The students are members of a non-governmental organization(NGO), Share and Care Africa, the organization which was founded by Oseni Toheeb Olamilekan in early April of 2018.
According to the matron of Abiye Orphanage home, Deaconess(Mrs) Esther Adegboyega, who spoke with us in Yoruba, made it clear that the good condition of the children is God's grace and help from various people especially children of Late Mama Abiye Egbewole, the woman who founded the Orphanage home. When asked about the education of the children, she said " Through sponsorship from children of Late mama Abiye Egbewole and other individuals, all the children are in standard private schools"




However, when asked about the role of government, the matron made it clear that both the present and past government of Osun State usually show love to the Orphanage home and even Senator Ademola Adeleke who contested for Osun State governor in late 2018 has even sent them stuffs thrice.
Moreover, when asked about their challenges in the Orphanage home, she said ; " Getting enough fund in this hard economy situation is a major challenge of the Orphanage home." She also showed her concern for one of the children named Blessing who is suffering from hereditary sickness according to test from university teaching hospital Ibadan, Oyo state. According to Deaconess(Mrs) Adegboyega, the girl needs alot of money for the healing of the sickness.
However, in a conversation with Mr. Oseni Toheeb Olamilekan, a final year student of literature OAU, who is also the founder of Share and Care Africa. He made it clear that the focus of the organization is to reach every part of Africa in next five years. He also made it clear that fund has been the major challenge of the organization so far.




Moreover, in a quiz with Miss Akinsunmade Blessing, the founder of BMI, beautiful minds initiative, the organization which at one side cares for orphans. Miss.Blessing, also a final year student of Literature in OAU,  beseeched Nigerians never to neglect orphans because they are also humans.
A member of Share and Care Africa, Miss. Adeyemi Nafisat Adesewa who is a student of part 2 Literature OAU, also discussed her reason for joining the share and Care team. She made it clear that she has always been looking for opportunity to care for the less privileged children and here she is with share and Care Africa.
Likewise, Oyewole Peter, a student of social study OAU, made it clear that his care for the less privileged made him to join share and care Africa and he believe very soon , they would cover Africa soon.


Members of Share and Care Africa did not only visit Abiye Orphanage home, they also taught the children how to make crafts with Ankara and they also presented gifts to them.
Members of Share and Care Africa at the reach out include;  Oni Rofiyat, Babatunde Rahmat, Oladele Anjola, Adeyemi Nafisat,, Adebayo Aishat, Balogun Roshidat, Quality Habeeb, Adebisi Habeeb, Opeyemi Festus, Oyewole Peter, Ademola Olamide, Ilebani olusola , Oseni Toheeb. 



The Akanra craft trainers are; Akinsunmade Blessing and Kareem Temitope.
