OAU IS A PLACE WHERE CULTISM CAN NEVER THRIVE ---- OAU VC

The vice chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede in a meeting with editors of news agencies on oau campus under the aegis of Association of campus journalist,ACJOAU led by Oludiran Olusola who is the president. The vice chancellor made it clear that OAU is a place where cultism can never thrive.
Moreover, he also made it clear that security protocol is something that can never be revealed to public.
Recall that a certain message titled "To the prawns and suirells of Obafemi Awolowo University" was circulated early in the month of May 2019 where certain cult group threatened to strike OAU campus on June 1.
However, the VC made it clear that concerning June 1 threat, within the past few days, many cult members have been arrested who are not students of Obafemi Awolowo University, not from Osun State and have been confessing.
On a final note, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, beseeched everyone to put their mind at rest.

Fresher's Week'24: Students' Union Holds Freshers Inter-Faculty Debate

The debate is part of the events that have been prepared for Fresher’s Week 2024. The event experienced a slight delay, as the venue was moved from the 1000-seater to Oduduwa Hall by the order of the school management, which requested that the initial venue be vacated because the office of the Vice President, responsible for the event, failed to seek permission before using it.
