FACULTY OF LAW STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE

  On Monday October 29,2018 , faculty of law students representative council OAU, hosted members of Association of campus Journalists. The press conference was organized because of the forthcoming law students  representative council conference which has been slated for Wednesday  31st of October  2018.

The  Speaker of Law Student Representative Council,Olawuni Tobi, made it clear that  the conference which is the second of its kind was  themed:  "Nigeria yesterday, today and tomorrow; the effect of adequate legislation on Nigerian economic situation."  Is to bring political and social gladiators together and let student learn from them.
   However, he also asserted that dignitaries like  Senator Babajide Omowoware,Hon. Adegboye A, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara,Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam  and the Royal Father of the day is His Royal Majesty Oba Enitan Ogunwusi,Ooni of Ile-Ife. The guest speakers include Dare Eluyemi,Nasir Sa'idu Adhama(Senior Special Adviser to the President on Youth Affairs) while the Key note speakers are Dr. Omoshola Arawomo and BARR. Misbau A. Lateef.
  According to the LSRC Speaker he said, "The event commensurate with the birthday of Senator Babajide @ 50 and all invited guests have been contacted as they all promised to be there all things been equal. It is also the  lunching day of the Maze magazine. The magazines covers talks,games and what will help in the growth of students. Certificates wil also be awarded and sourveners."
He also stated that the programme is not a political campaign as one of the subtopic is "the effect of adequate legislation in the society."
   Moreover, when asked about the issue of publicity, the director of  publication for the  conference, Asemudara Oladimeji, stated that the banners would be placed at strategic places and the reason for the lateness of the banner is because of changes in how banners are being placed on OAU Campus in recent days.  He also stated that Executives from different departments will also be contacted to relate it to their members.
The Welfare Coordinator, Fashoyin Adebiyi  also spoke on their preparation as he said "everybody will be catered for to the best of our abilities and to people's taste."
